Wine & Love™ is not just a wine, it’s a love story of two young people, depicted in labels of our bottles, a love story which is cross-cutting in our selection of young and bright wines.
Our wines are meant to reveal those feelings that accompany every classic love affair. Let these wines make you fall in love with them as with each bottle their story gets more interesting and more romantic.
Wine & Love™ is wine brand owned by “Chateau Grona” Group (Odessa, Ukraine) originates from agricultural colony founded in 1927 by the French Jewish Fund ICA in Bessarabia -the land of a millennial history of winemaking.
During 87 years of its history, just like the entire Ukrainian Bessarabia, the winery survived political changes, economic successes and trials. But all these years, our winery is one of the best-known and most respected wineries of Bessarabia.
340 hectares of “Chateau Grona” vineyards are located on the “grape latitude” – between 46 and 47 degrees, on the same parallel with famous French wine regions of Bordeaux and Burgundy. In hilly terrain Ukrainian Bessarabia naturally combines long, sunny summers and short, relatively mild winters with frequent snowfalls that allows you to grow abundant harvests of high quality. The combination of black soil and sandy soils with hilly terrain provides a natural base for wine from time immemorial (history of wine making in this area has no less than 2500 years).
Grape variety . We grow the most suitable varieties for the area European Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot, Bastardo, Saperavi, Chardonnay , Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat (Irsha Oliver Tranminer, Odessa early, etc.), as well as local varieties of Odessa Black , Sukholimansky).
Wine & Love™ was created by people who are truly in love, and not only with wine. The love story on bottles was inspired by one of winery co-owner, whose real story become the ground for it. Owners are also top-managers dealing with finance, supply and marketing. People who work for our winery invest not only time and energy, but also the soul into cultivation of grapes and the creation of wines.
